Maritime Security Operative
February 12 @ 8:00 am – February 20 @ 5:00 pm
Have you ever fantasised about sailing the high seas on a ship to exotic locations that you would not usually book for your summer vacation?
Maritime Security Operatives (MSOs) are modern private maritime forces tasked with preventing maritime threats that largely stem from pirates’ illegal activities (such as kidnapping or robbery) and terrorism.
MSO course is developed to prepare qualified people who want to work as privately contracted security personnel or are already doing so and want to develop their careers. The course is designed to provide candidates with all the theoretical knowledge and practical skills required to carry out the duties of a maritime armed security professional following international standards and procedures.
The course’s duration is 9 days, and we provide everything you need to start or advance your career in the Maritime Security Operative sector.
The course is designed following international standards and protocols, and former and current operators of Maritime Security Operatives and Team Leaders conduct it. The lead instructor was a former Commander of the Maritime Training Department of Polish Special Unit Grom. He is the one who has designed the course, with an emphasis on the Maritime Security Industry. Part of his experience is the organisation of several maritime counterterrorist operations in war zones and many domestic and international training as well as crisis response operations and VIP protections from the seaside.
This course incorporates a combination of theoretical and practical exercises. It is conducted in a military-style team-building environment, allowing students to acquire the set of skills required to perform the duties of a Maritime Security Operative.
